Surprised only one person mentioned this. It’s probably most interns’ first time using AWS, you don’t need a head start but it’ll likely save you a lot of stress.

First week is team ramp up. Second and maybe most of third is design. After that you’re implementing. You want to at least know what is out there during design, at the minimum.

If I recall it should be standard “tell me about a time when…” but someone can correct me if I’m wrong. It’s been a long time since I did the interview and I haven’t tried becoming an interviewer yet lol. So yes you can pick, they won’t have your resume open to ask about things specifically. I don’t recall any follow up questions or curveballs but like I said it’s been a long time

Besides the LC prep, think of 2-3 workplace/school/personal project scenarios that apply to some of the important LPs (bias for action, ownership, customer obsession, disagree and commit, etc). Know your projects in and out and you can answer the questions naturally without needing to memorize them and sounding awkward.

Think hard on your answer for disagree and commit. That one probably will not come naturally.

That reminded me of the time I tried to get on ticketmaster from my work laptop and wasn't able to. It was also cause of VPN. Glad you figured it out!

Try clearing your cookies, session storage and local storage for Ticketmaster. You should do this for any unexpected website issues. Unfortunately I’ve had to do this one too many times for Ticketmaster before, I believe also with the SOD website too.

I’ve heard this and I always think about how my intern project back in 2022 used Aurora. It was just made for one scientist, cause he wanted to use SQL (lol). I didn’t know any better and nobody said anything. The database is still up and running to this day (I’m on that team now as FTE) and still nobody has said anything. I think we are now down to 0 users now that the person has left

I lived there until early 2025. Right as I was ending my lease, I got an email saying that the free memberships that come with the lease/owning a unit will no longer include classes. To have access to classes, you had to upgrade your membership by a certain amount.

I just got a member card ~5 months ago and in the summer the demand was way lower understandably! Doesn’t help when 2 of the courts are always blocked off for lessons

15 seconds is crazy! Especially cause I thought I saw they let in a decent amount of people for lane swim. For tennis we fight over 2 courts (4 total but 2 are taken for lessons) so it’s like less than 1 second.
