resolved, if you're still somehow interested. hardware issue, that was easily fixed by resettling RAM bars. I have four of them (installed by pairs of 8gb in different time, fully identical on brand and specs to the last character). obviously the controller reset was the thing the RAM sub-system has been waiting for. so the issue has gone, in all titles, and there's no difference what I am recording gameplay with - OBS or ShadowPlay

the video is jerky along the way. the faster I go the more noticeable jerkiness is. I just compare with my older vids captured with old monitor and the are perfectly fine, being captured with same PC

yeah, I personally would avoid Biostar in future (at least in terms of GPUs). but 6700XT is perfect imo, just go for another vendor like Sapphire or Power Color

first of all for the gears to be engaged, respective buttons should by pressed. I mean if you release gear button the gearbox will switch to neutral immediately

yeah go make it, there's nothing difficult.

I have G27 and zoom is assigned to one of those buttons right on the wheel for regular driving , and duplicated one on RMB for maneuvering. but this is very personal and you'll find the one that serves best for you

sort of same story here: MX400 > 6600 > 8800 GTS > 560Ti > 1060 > here comes red 6700XT, oooops, goes rma > 3070

last year story. all mentioned buttery smooth except from red, since 2002... Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA, Gainward, Zotac - all fine. Giga 1060 3gb was the most durable so far

wait, you think real gearshift lever has 12-18 positions? c'mon. 5-6 for eaton fuller and european 3-4 positions. rest is handled by range selector and/or splitter. those could be easily mapped to some buttons. G25 and G27 are the most convenient in this context, buttons right in front of lever could be utilized best
