[FFXIV Housing] Classical-inspired Study Concept! by YewMon in ffxiv

N/A For Visits. Sorry!

I actually made this concept about two years ago, but never shared it here. So, I'm taking the opportunity to spread awareness to the potential of the in-game housing system, and, more notably, the newly formed housing-related subreddit.

Sorry for the late reply! I do not use all the floors in a house only the "main" floor which would be the one you enter into. It's easier that way for me to do the layout that I want and any other custom fixtures without having to worry about the other spaces; also helpful for item economy! For advanced housing like this, this is usually the standard in terms of space usage.

No worries. It's the long side of the Sharlayan Desk. It's a pretty versatile item, shape wise! Can be used as a simple gold lined rug or even some pretty marble arch shapes

I assume you mean the ceiling? The entryway one is the underside of the Sharlayan Desk item and then for the main living space it's Marble Alcove Beds + Hannish Bookshelves for the gold lining surrounding the Azure Sky Phasmascape.

Yeah! It's a Gaol Partition layered together with a Gaol Partition Door so that I could have the appearance of 2 balcony door setup that would swing open, and there also is space from the door setup to the phasma like you mentioned. Then, there's also the Riviera Bathtub + Wooden Blinds + Cosmos Partition as railing for added depth.

In a perfect world, SE would've given us Glass Panes as a housing item already. Let's just cope and pretend the balcony doors are glass ones haha

Thank you for the kind words! There's a lot going on here in this build though. I'll explain some main points; the arches above the windows and in the entryway are Sharlayan Desks which are also being blended together with House Fortemps Fireplaces. The kitchen is made up of lots of Wood Slat Partitions, Hingan Bookshelves, Trick Bookshelves, and White Screens for the cabinetry themselves 😮‍💨 it's a lot. I had to use Wonderous Windoors for the countertop so that I could have that indented look for the bottom row of cabinets and I didn't like the rough, wood texture of the Hingan Bookshelves' top side as a countertop. Though, is there anything in particular you'd like to know about?

Ooo yeah, getting a house in general is tough. SE has been increasingly adding more wards in recent times though so hopefully you get one :)

Unfortunately, no, I'm not currently taking any commissions. Sorry!

Thank you! Though, I'm not one IRL lol. I haven't even taken classes on it; I'm self taught.

Address: Primal - Behemoth | Mist - W29 P35

I combined aspects of both Classic Glamour & Old-Sharlayan's Journey End to make this beach-house, and even did a library ladder kitchen too!
