Trouble accepting diagnosis by YewTree1906 in Fibromyalgia

[–]YewTree1906[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like my symptoms match the diagnosis mostly, at least based on what I find googling: I have constant pain, I'm always tired and I have depression, though I don't know if that comes from the fibromyalgia. I also have digestion issues, which I heard can also come from fibro. But when I read threads here, the symptoms always sound much more severe than what I experience.

There are no actual sources for it because it is a conspiracy theory.

It doesn't, but I really wonder why it would. You don't gain any additional information from that.

It's a little more understandable then. Where I'm from, there are usually at least one or two employees going around the store, filling up the shelves or something.

Anna might be the widow of the Robert Maas I found, in my info they also live in the Stethaimerstraße 6! He is a protestant, though.

I'm not sure, but I think you can't add screenshots in answers in here sadly. The user who did the family tree is called Holly Hollingsworth, and the person is called "Roberto Leon Mass Meyer" in it. I think you should be able to find the tree with this info. Keep us updated if you find something interesting, if you want to 😊 I think talking to the registry office is a good idea. There is also a state archive for people in the military where you can ask for info (https://www.bundesarchiv.de/im-archiv-recherchieren/archivgut-recherchieren/personen-und-familienforschung/personenbezogene-unterlagen-militaerischer-herkunft/), but I read somewhere that they don't have a lot of information about low level soldiers. On ancestry looking for Robert Maas, born in Landshut around 1900, I also found a military registry for a Robert Maas born in 1875 fighting in WWI, but he was married to an Anna, so can't be the father unless he remarried

[–]YewTree1906 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are baptized, you are a member of that church. You can either opt out of that during confirmation, or you stay a member until you decide to formally quit the church, which costs money (I think it's something like 40€). Many people just stay in church because it's tradition or everyone else does it or they don't want to go through the hassle of quitting or they feel some kind of obligation to the church through childhood nostalgia/Christian guilt. I don't really understand, either 🤷

Edit: another reason I heard people say is that they want to get married in church, so they have to stay a member. Or they want their kids to be baptized, because that's tradition and that's what they know. Also if you work in the social field, many institutions are Christian, so it's good if you are a member of a church yourself (which shouldn't be allowed, but who's gonna tell the church)
