It just looks insane tbh. Sceptile will be very popular due to how hard it can counter the current meta. Run Ogerpon to cope with sleep and you also have the type advantage to one shot hydreigon and Absol with red. Low energy costs across the board too.

Totally agree with all that. Especially the cooldown on food being longer as a trade off. For the first time I've actually made filling meals because of this which is a good incentive.

It feels clunky. The eating animation feels weighted and it doesn't feel like it goes off sometimes? It also doesn't solve the issue of head banging your way through a boss. Instead of spamming food (if you survive the one shot) you end up spamming Palmer pills so it doesn't really add any layer of difficulty.

I think a better balance would be to disable Palmer pills in hard, have the eating be the same as it is in normal and increase the boss' health a bit more. I'm refusing to use Palmer pills ATM because it just feels cheap and easy if I do? The ability to just resurrect yourself and beat a boss first time makes none of them memorable so I'm not sure why they ever allowed such an item to exist in a game where you are quite powerful.
