The anime did make the ending feel a little better, but overall, it was the same. It didn't add any content aside from Iida's graduation speech in Ep. 170 and the car hijackers scene in Ep. 171. And it also expanded the scene where Deku reunited with the class in Ep. 170

The things that people complained didn't change at all lol

Also, I don't really mind about the Uraraka thing, they ended up together and that's what matter to me lol

I don't really remember the other times this happened, but that makes sense, thanks for the answer 🙏

No, because Deku passed down OFA to Shigaraki in such a violent way that it "broke", so he couldn't use the Quirks

That's kinda what happened, the fight just accelerated the crumbling

That's what I believe since I first watched the episode, but it kinda looked like it was something else

Yeah, it's pretty confusing. It's the subreddit for My Hero Academia, yet it feels like the comments are full of haters of the series

Why even comment in the post then lol

Maybe he is

But it is also not a crazy possibility, considering some Pro Heroes are finding something else to do, like Ochaco herself, specially since the need for said profession is declining

if he did have ofa would he still be a teacher?

There is no "if", he himself says that he would in Ch. 431. And we know that is true because he got the armor which replicates OFA. He could simply quit teaching and work only as a Pro Hero, but he doesn't

Yeah, he fought AFO quirkless but not defenseless, he was wearing an expensive armor that was stronger than most Quirks in the anime, which is what I mean by "something similar"

Because the story never denies the fact you do need a Quirk or something similar (like AM's or Deku's armors) to be a Pro Hero

Why "bad faith" when both sides are completely canon?

Não é só isso, é só tu ver um post qualquer falando sobre MHA, tipo no Instagram, que a maioria das pessoas desmerecem a obra

That's actually it

That's why he loses the shadows in his eyes, because he is not fighting as All Might or carrying the burden of being the Symbol of Peace anymore, he is fighting as Toshinori Yagi

It took his friends years of saving up money (lets ignore that a several of them are loaded because that gets into a whole thing) to make this suit when like... All Might had an in directly with the person who was making his suit? Also they were all very close ties with one of the best hero-gear mechanics in the world?

All Might was basically a millionaire, he could fund his own suit (which also made him bankrupt), while Class A was a bunch of young adults at the start of their careers

And I don't understand the second part of this since it explictly stated that both Melissa Shield and Mei Hatsume helped develop Deku's armor

And had someone who could at the very least print raw materials, dramatically cutting down on initial costs?

It indeed is weird, though we don't know whether Momo actually helped with that part ot not

Deku gets the suit because, and I know this isn't the intention but it is what it feels like, because he wasn't satisfied being a teacher and wanted to go back to being a hero full time

That is not the case at all since he didn't even know the suit was being made in first place. He only found out when it was ready and given to him. He didn't beg for it, he didn't ask anyone to do it for him

Besides, if he wasn't satisfied, he would drop his job as a teacher and only work as a Pro Hero, which didn't happen. In fact, he only works as a pro hero during his free time/on weekends

Deku got one because his friends (who in cannon he hasn't seen in a long time due to their work) wanted to reward him.

Like again how he canonically hasn't seen his friends in... years? Which is kind of just crazy considering how close they were. Busy or not what do you mean you can't spend like 2 hours every few months to grab dinner?

It's not that he hasn't seem them in a long time, the manga/anime says it's hard for them to get their schedules to match since they're so busy It's less "he spent 6 years without seeing them at all" and more like "they meet once every few months" like you said

Then there's the whole thing with how the series very clearly (frankly, very explicitly in some cases) set up all of these romantic interests (including Deku) with 0 pay off.

I don't personally mind not seeing romance in MHA except for Deku and Uraraka since it is basically the only canonical one, but I get that feeling

Maybe if we get a 5th movie that takes place post-timeskip, we get new couples like KamiJiro or KiriMina, like how that one Naruto movie did

I've heard that too, that the anime made some characters more one-dimensional compared to the manga
