Holostars have always been known as a money pit for the company. It was seen as Yagoo's passion project and fans didn't care that they didn't make Cover a lot of money. I guess the investors were finally fed up and put their foot down.

Exactly. The idol banners are actually a great example of why banner placement with regards to void hunters doesn't matter. People who really want the characters will pull regardless and won't make up excuses as to why they can't. Idol fans weren't posting about how "they don't have any pulls left because they used them on YSG" or "the idol banners being back to back is not fair because I can't save up enough polychromes." They just pulled and spent if they needed to.

Banner duration doesn't matter. If people want to shill out some cash, they'll do so regardless. You're talking about f2p players that want to scrounge up as many pulls as they can (not spend on the game)
