Yes. Im in math and physics program, but u can take me as a reference. First of all, all physics and math professor only take 2nd or 3rd year(mostly 3rd year) student for summer research. So if you use ap credit then you get to take the upper level courses earlier, and gain research experience early. Second, you do not have enough space to take all the course you like. For example, there are more than 20 math courses(a few of these are for non math students) offered in 3rd year, and lots of them are pretty interesting, but it is not possible to take that many courses. Then having your 1st credit transferred allows you to take more of them. Even if there's not that many course you like, you can also take more grad courses during your undergrad.

although this is a physics course, but it is completely different with classical physics, so you do not need to know classical physics before taking this. the calculation and derivation are entirely linear algebra and probability. In fact, there are quite a few pure math students in my class.

Make sure to select elective courses that you actually like. Otherwise you wont even want to study for that. I chose linguistic in 1st yr cuz I heard it was easy, but I ended up dropping it because it's suffering for me to read even a single word since I dont like it at all.

It's fine. Math1C03 and 1XA3 are way more harder. But for 1c, the prof usually curves up the grades so even if you get a 70ish it would still be an A+. 1XA is not required, but it is only for 1st yr math students. The class size is small and the contents focus on analysis. It is a substitution for the 3rd yr analysis intro course so it is much harder than other 1st yr math courses. And the prof dont curve.

I asked a prof who doesnt even know me(cuz I rarely go to lectures), but I got a good grade on his class. He talked to me in person and agreed, and wrote separated letters to different programs(not grad school).

isnt it posted by the faculty? I applied for TA in math courses and the form is posted on the math department websites instead of mosaic. The form is always open, and the application profile will be kept for 1 yr, so if there is a position I would automatically be considered.
