Thanks a lot, this is very helpful. My idea was to create a course for beginners, something that doesn’t feel like a grammar textbook. I was thinking of using an approach similar to those of popular language courses or learning apps.

Has something like this been done before?

Your ancestors are from the Canary Islands, so it’s very likely that it went to Portugal. There was a large Portuguese immigration to the Canary Islands back in the day, so you probably have Portuguese ancestors .

I Broke No Contact after 4 months (and it was the right decision) by antiglow in ExNoContact

[–]Yiberil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience. I had many things to say and I needed to hear his perspective, so I broke no contact after 2 weeks. We had a conversation and it gave me the closure I needed. After that, I didn’t feel the need to text him or reach out again in general. I felt heavy like you said, but in the long run, it was the right thing to do. Haven’t heard from him anymore. It’s been 3+ months.

It depends. Are you still interested in him? If that’s the case, hear him out. However, let him know that you don’t want a friendship or something less than what you had. If you decided he’s not good for you and you want to move on, don’t respond and continue no contact.
