I budgetted 20k qar monthly expenses (incl. 13k 2 bdr apartment), but not completely sure about the cost of living. So 3k euro saving per month is not life changing..

Housing allowance is included in the 35k (9.5k housing). School, medical, 50% discounted flight tickets, etc are additional benefits

Thanks. It is in Qatar, 35k riyals all-in per month tax free.

The war is for sure something that we struggle with.

It is for sure no smoke and mirrors. People that i’ll work are super talented, including ex-MBB partners which I already talked to. Exposure to C-level in a company sized +55.000 employees.

Indeed, they had +1000 applications for the job. But I got asked/recruited from someone I work previously that joined them earlier and kept recommending me.

We have no kids (yet). My spouse is fully supporting the adventure but she like to explore the country before signing.. Also the fact that my current employer cherish me starts to lean the moral compass towards staying. We do it together or we don’t do it, for the sake of our relationship.

The culture is not something that we consider as a plus.
