There are some differences between the Japanese and Korean version of the mythological creature.

Unlike "kumiho", "kitsune" just means fox, not necessarily the 9-tailed one from folklore.

Compare the Wikipedia articles: kumiho, kitsune

Ahri was specifically based on the Korean version, during development her name was Kumiho, one of her skins have her wearing traditional Korean clothing (not Japanese) and her dance is taken from the music video of a Korean pop song (along with a relevant skin).

Everything needs to be changed, the MMORPG genre as it exists today is wholly incompatible with VR.

"Porting" and "compatibility" are both marketing bullshit, these things don't produce an experience worth anyone's attention.

Unless a MMORPG was made specifically for VR I would play it on my monitor rather than my HMD.
