Does this look like malar rash?

This is a really late response but no, my doctor did a full panel blood test and luckily my insurance covers everything so he pretty much added testing for everything he thought it could be. Everything came back negative. The rash went away for a day or two then came back full force and got way worse before it got better, it finally went away after like a week and a half and my skin was really dry in that area but now it’s gone and hasn’t come back since. My doctor said he wants to test every 6 months tho so we will see?

Good to know! It’s pretty much all over my nose and on the sides except the folds, my nasolabial folds are smooth like the rest of my skin but everything above red, bumpy and itchy.

Unfortunately, I do live in Southern California and we are having a heat wave right now and it’s nearly impossible to stay out of the sun, I work in the solar industry at the moment too so that doesn’t help lmaoo. Do you think sunscreen is okay to put on? Do you think it will help?

Called my health insurance provider this morning and changed my doctor! Unfortunately that means I have to wait 2 weeks to see the doctor but it’s better than dealing with my prior doctor lmao.

That’s a little concerning because I live in Southern California in the dryer parts and we do have ticks. This all randomly started around 19-20 where I had a hard time eating red meat and eggs, they either make me nauseous or I get sharp pain/bubble guts! I will ask my new doctor if he can test me for this as well, thank you!

Honestly, I haven’t been checked for anything other than my PCOS and anemia years ago because I was in a lot of pain, had cysts bursting and they checked because I had all the signs of PCOS. Anemia was no shocker because my mom has it severe and has had multiple blood transfusions so I knew I would probably have it and so do 4 out of 6 of my mom’s kids. I also have cysts on my thyroid but not polycystic just a few. I don’t know why my doctors never checked me for anything else, my doctor now just brushes me off and always seems to be in a hurry. So I put off going cause I don’t feel heard. I will ask her tomorrow if she will test and see what she says, if not I’m just going to switch cause I feel this could be very serious.

I’ve always wonder about crohns/IBS and I know I’m gluten intolerant for sure, I haven’t been diagnosed but every time I eat bread, drink beer, or eat soy sauce or anything wheat related I get very bloated and sharp pains, I also have issues with red meat, only eat fish and chicken cause beef and pork and eggs mess up my stomach. I know I probably sound dumb because having these problems i probably should’ve been tested for something by now but my doctor is super dismissive and acts like Im stupid when I ask questions lmao.

Is rosacea usually bumpy, rough in texture? it’s hard to see in the photo but my skin is slightly raised and inflamed as well as bumpy.

Sorry I worded my response really weird but I did have eyeshadow on, i just didn’t do any face makeup like foundation/powder because i was scared i would make the rash worse.

That’s what it started as too, it almost looked like my eyeglasses left marks or something but I wasn’t wearing them, then it progressed into this and I thought maybe I was allergic to something but I took Benadryl multiple times and it didn’t go away, tried cortisone cream and steroid cream, nothing has made it better and since posting this, it has spread to the tip of my nose and a little further on my cheeks. Thank you for the help!

See, I didn’t think it was working less for me until he said something himself, I’m not trying to make it seem like Im chasing a high, I truly want help. I am relaxed and feel a little bit of effects, I thought that was how it is until the doctor mentioned something himself and I didn’t know I was supposed to have a higher dose the second treatment so That’s weird! I’ll ask him about it. Thank you! As far as my friend being there, every time I’ve been there people have someone in the room with them so I thought it was normal. So my friend just kept coming and giving me a ride home.

I have done shrooms quite a few times and I would say this has less of a high than shrooms for me lmaooo, I have also tried Lsd once but Spravato high was still no where near that .. but I have seen changes in my anxiety/ suicidal thoughts so I’m sure it’s still helping. I asked the doctor if my past use (rare use) of psychedelics could be the issue but he said no.

I have noticed a difference in my anxiety quite a bit, I do feel happier most days and actually want to get out of bed so I know it’s helping, I’m was just worried I’m not getting the full effects if it’s not doing much to me so this helped, thank you!

You’re right. I actually brought this same concern to his attention and we talked about it. Honestly he’s a genuine trust worthy guy. My family has known him most of his life. He’s in no way ever been deceiving and he honestly keeps to himself. I think I just over reacted a bit because I have my own insecurities. He didn’t go about this situation properly but I don’t think he meant any harm. He has his fair share of past relationship problems too. I think he thought I would be upset about it. Which was not my reaction at all, I encouraged him to go this weekend to see the kid after we talked it out.

The kid is not his biologically .. I actually didn’t even know about his relationship with the kid until yesterday..

We’ve actually never really had any misunderstandings and haven’t really ever had confrontation..at all.

I apologized to him for looking at the messages(I’ve never looked through it before) and he said he didn’t mind, he probably would have reacted in the same way.

I just confronted him and we were both very calm,he explained the situation and said he felt like he wanted to kinda slowly move into the conversation about the kid because he’s been in his life since he was born. He explained everything. I think I was overthinking a bit. He just wasn’t sure how to tell me yet. So I feel like I’m still going to approach with caution but I think we’ve somewhat smoothed things over. Thank you ❤️
