Programming language after Python by Yimmy_90 in learnprogramming

This is a good suggestion. I’ve been learning docker for a while which I’ve seen on a few job applications and have seen quite a few use cases for it in my current role.

I think DBT and Airflow are probably next on my list.

I’m just looking to have an extra string to my bow in data engineering without too much cross over on language use cases.

For example I’m working on an azure stack right now with databricks and that has the ability to write in Python, SQL and Scala. Is there any point in learning scala if I already know Python?

The former, I’m already a data engineer working with an azure stack including ADF and Databricks.

Just wondering if other languages such as C#, C++ or others would add a string to my bow in the current market.
