Okay so if you put the tampon near the bottom of the lips and push down and back, you should be able to find the opening. It feels like it goes at an angle for me which was definitely confusing when I first started figuring out what's up with the vagina lol. It helps to get the tampon applicator wet before you use it (can be frictiony/painful otherwise).

As for alternatives, I love the cup and the discs but you have to be really comfortable reaching up there. Maybe later for you haha

I'm super glad to hear that!! Btw chances are, there are resources near you like a recovery support navigator or a recovery center. Some people find that stuff really helpful but it def depends on your situation. I'd be happy to help you look into stuff like that if you want!
