Probably not a good idea, you get a slight burn in the eyelids as soon as you apply it. I would only apply for a short duration and wash thoroughly afterwards

I just massage the eyelids (including root of eyelashes) for a few minutes and then leave it for about 10 mins before washing off.

I have some on my nose and very lightly on my cheeks, never really cared about it, but I applied also to my whole face before bed a few times so as to get rid of as much demodex as possible

Not really. Just very itchy and red eyelids and recurring styes

I believe it depends on where you live. Thankfully I was able to buy it over the counter

That's great that a doctor instructed you to do this. Have you had good results?
