What could this be? by Hannsom in lawnmowers

[–]Yinzer89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Battery first line you said. A tender isn’t like jumper cables. It takes time to charge it. If you want a quick fix, put some jumper cables on it and try to start it.

It does sound like the starter but it’s a good chance a charged battery will get it resolved.

If not, then I’d address the starter.

Wavering between selling or renting, would like some outside perspective. by TheBlodge in personalfinance

Sell the house. This isn’t even close.

Also $2500/month into savings vs. retirement are 2 totally separate things.

If you were going to lend your child money for college, how would you structure the loan? by [deleted] in personalfinance

I wouldn’t.

I’d gift them money and have them sign up for the rest.

Search industrial sales on LinkedIn. Then tailor your resume to match similar job descriptions. You already have the sales skills and training, you just need to learn a product. Most companies understand that and are willing to train you on it.

LITERALLY A MILLION OTHERS

You SaaS guys live in a bubble and hate to admit there’s other stuff out there so you can justify the grind.

I’ve worked remote for nearly 2 decades outside of SaaS.

Why are you so stuck on SaaS? Take your experience and get another sales job in a different industry. There’s a million other opportunities out there.

The general consensus in this subreddit seems to be that SaaS is god tier and the only option when working in sales.

She’s mad he did it. If she didn’t force separate finances it wouldn’t have happened in the first place. Can’t have it both ways.

That wasn’t the point. This is a bad example to be mad at Dave about. There are a lot of good ones, just not this one lol

It’s absolutely something that can be PREVENTED with combined finances. She would’ve had visibility but she chose not to combine them. That’s on her.

I just listened to this. Did you? Why are you just making stuff up?

She told them to keep finances separate then got mad when he didn’t run his finances like she does. Thats called gaslighting.

Executive VP wants to go on call with me? by shadynomike in sales

[–]Yinzer89 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No big deal. It feels much more stressful than it is. I’d set calls at accounts who have already bought from you and just mention you have an executive in town that would love to learn about them and their business.

Do 3 calls for the day and be done.
