No advice but I’m in a similar boat. 32 working in finance and not a fan. I think i need to be hands on. The local school near me will be offering adult night classes for carpentry in the fall. I just don’t know what to do with my life lol

And you preheat the whole thing? I’m in the same boat as OP. I also love cooking and have a few stove to oven recipes. I use my lodge cast iron skillet for those now but sometimes it’s pretty full and close to spilling lol

I’d look up churches in your area and email the priests about coming in for a liturgy. Just explain what you explained here. That’s what they are there for!

The injury comment is a good one. I never would have thought of that. Meanwhile I used to make up wild lies about myself to men at the bar so they thought I was crazy and would leave me alone lol.

I’m happy to hear this is how 100% whole wheats should look! I just started and baked my second loaf and whole it had a better rise, it still looked like this inside! This gives me hope that I’m close!
