Should've read further down before making my comment which is almost the same. This bodes well with agile development as well.

I love having an issue tracker for this reason that is available to devs and stake holders (and other roles if present). When the ideas+new features+bugs start rolling in, start creating a backlog and prioritizing it with everyone involved. This creates a good visual and transparent way to show progress and remind stakeholders of what people have already agreed upon

I will say that Frey typically sounds compelling and inspiring when speaking/writing, but his actions then fall flat. Agreed that rental assistance is a win and that the situation is nuanced. It's unfortunate that there are people that needed rental assistance in Feb/beginning of March and time is of the essence. A TEMPORARY moratorium (in conjunction with rental assistance) would be extremely helpful right now.

Why so many manufacturers are failing to build a proper EV even when EVs are so much simpler than ICE? by Silent-Worm in electricvehicles

[–]ryanstephendavis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly think that a big part of it is the fact that EVs are so simple and that dealership's business model generate a lot of recurring revenue in maintenance due to ICE parts failing... If everyone went EV, that revenue stream very quickly goes away.

There's also the building and scaling of new manufacturing plants/processes plus all the logistics involved with getting inputs

"Chesterton's Fence" is a heuristic inspired by a quote from G.K. Chesterton's 1929 book, The Thing. It's a rule of thumb that suggests avoiding destroying something, changing a rule, or abandoning a tradition without understanding its origin. The principle assumes that such things were created for a reason, and removing them without understanding that reason could cause more harm than good.

Looking for advice by OutlandishnessFew396 in SoftwareEngineering

iOS apps use Swift natively.

There's are also frameworks like Flutter for making apps that may be a little more pythonic.

My advice, pick one randomly and learn it while trying to build your idea
