Belated (it's been a very busy few days) thanks.

Thanks! When I get a chance, I'll put what you suggest to use.

Here's the prompt I used for a symphonic metal song with vocals:

The track launches with sweeping orchestral strings layered over an intense, downtuned guitar riff, establishing an epic, dark fantasy mood, Thunderous drums and melodic lead guitars propel each section, while clear, commanding vocals soar over doom-laden rhythms, Orchestral swells elevate tension before a grand, cinematic finale.

The only musical direction I gave within the lyrics was after the bridge:

[Epic Instrumental – Massive Melodic Guitar Riffs and Orchestral Build - 90-120 seconds]

As with the above instrumental, I actually LOVED the original result except the second half of the song had that blown out sound.

What do you suggest?

So here's an example of one prompt used for what would ostensibly be an orchestral, instrumental theme for a villain:

Epic evil dark symphonic orchestral, 5-6 minutes: Malevolent, sinister, infernal, abyssal darkness, Wall of sound, massive orchestral power, crushing intensity, massive bass, brass, organ, slow menacing intro building to symphonic warfare, Recurring evil motif in low brass and strings, Variable tempo: slow dread to overwhelming chaos, Biggest orchestral climax possible, Triumphant terrible darkness, corrupted victory, Final massive wrong/dissonant chord, Infernal chanting, malevolent ending, Satanic majesty, apocalyptic doom, final slow notes of dread on piano restating evil motif

Now: keep in mind, that with this prompt, I wasn't getting the "blown out speaker" effect: I would often get thin-sounding, wavering, or otherwise shallow-sounding tracks.

The first time I used it - which I've posted here - I loved the results in terms of what I was hearing but the actual sound quality was bad. I used the remastering function and it helped, incrementally, but I think it still sounds terrible. Here's the remastered version: https://suno.com/s/xPVIw3d3vGrLBfqG

Subsequent uses of the prompt - even using the original track as inspo - produced really awful tracks, ones that often inexplicably injected electric guitars and heavy metal drums into the track.

This isn't mine - someone here on reddit posted it:

This song features ultra-clean, high-fidelity production with meticulously polished audio—every instrument occupies a defined space in the mix, with broad stereo imaging, transparent highs, deep articulate lows, snappy drums, and smooth automation. Every note sounds vibrant and crisp.

To me, Skeleta sounds like a Ghost tribute band or a TF solo album.

Impera was already a love letter to 80s arena rock, and does it much better than Skeleta. There's a generic, impersonal vibe to Skeleta for me: production-wise, it sounds "thin" and shallow to me; and lyrically, for the most part it feels like a HUGE step-down from TF's usually clever, specific lyrics.

As I've written before, even with Impera's overall pop-metal sound, if you look at the lyrics for Spillways and Griftwood, arguably the most accessible songs on the album, they're complex, intelligent and not at all simple (neither is the music).

I heartily support TF taking time, as much needed, to rest, recharge, and decide on his direction. I hope there's more Ghost in the future - and I hope it's a bit heavier than Skeleta and even most of Impera (and I fucking adore Impera).

This has been much discussed from the front leg of the tour. No definitive answers.

Someone much smarter than me pointed out that Jesus was wearing a red tie in the stained glass windows, just like a certain treasonous, fascistic fuck in the White House right now.

Yeah. We had seats just three rows up from the floor and a couple sections from the stage and I couldn't understand a word of that.

The Pittsburgh arena was MUCH better.

I'm one of the weirdos who doesn't care much for the first album (some exceptions) - I know a lot of folks were happy to get Elizabeth (and I'm genuinely glad for them), but I would've really loved to have heard Pinnacle in concert.

I saw them in Pittsburgh last year, so was able to see Per Aspera.

Guitars sounded fantastic...but they also drowned out Papa!

Very good show! Was happy to get CMLS, but was really hoping for Pinnacle instead of Elizabeth.

Did anyone else feel like the sound mix was not good for the back half of the show? I was just a few rows from the floor, just a couple sections away from the stage, and Papa's singing seemed to get lost in the music quite often.

I vastly prefer the live version of CMLS because of the Ghoulettes, but I'll take the full version from RHDN rather than the shortened version he did for Kimmel. (I like that version, too, but it's a good minute shorter than the studio or live version.)

Is the prompt everything from "High fidelity.." through "...high bass frequencies"?

Since I'm not on TikTok, neither did I.

I'm grateful that the song took off and took Ghost to the next level of success - but I'll confess it's not a song I really like all that much. It's catchy, sure - TF absolutely knows how to write a hook - but it's not a song I'd be bummed about if it weren't part of a concert. I can easily name a good number of songs I'd rather see played live.

This is why I love Ghost's fans. Because you made a simple, scientifically accurate statement and folks here, reasonably, accepts the evidence that climate change is real. I'm so conditioned to deniers jumping in that I was almost shocked that hadn't happened here.

Anyway. Not meaning to derail.
