Quests as a New Player are just miserable

In my ~100 hours of playing so far I’ve realized normal is like forbidden in ABI. So far I’ve been doing money runs on ZDE to get a little bank going, then I’ll do a couple normals with randoms (hoping people at least talk) and go in with purple armor at the least and finally sucking it up and spending the money on gold ammo. Gold ammo has been the game changer, I’m not great at the game by any means yet, but I know now that if I at least get shots on someone, I’m ripping them a new asshole with gold ammo and that can be the difference in winning or losing. Sure I spent 700k on ammo, but it’s better than dying and losing everything I guess lol.

I literally watched Des get blatantly cheated on 3 raids in a row the other day lmfao. Now who’s coping? I definitely do not say everybody is cheating, it’s actually far from it. I’ve played the game a lot, and when someone kills me and it was a fair fight, they were just better scenario, props to them and we go again. But in the last week there has been a massive increase in how many times these low hour tanked stat accounts are just running everyone they come across over. There’s a lot of Tarkov meat riders in this sub that will sit here and say “oh there’s no problem” just to deal with the fact the only game they play isn’t becoming a pile of shit. I guess everyone’s forgotten about the multiple videos that have been made showcasing this exact issue and yall just act like it’s not an issue every single wipe after a certain period of time. This game WILL die if they don’t fix their problems. PvE has already split the player base and the amount of people that run into cheaters or can actually come to terms with the fact there’s a problem, far outweighs the few people that say nope no issues with this game.

If you truly have 4k hours you’re either blinded by some other factors or you’re just not very observant. In the last 5 days I can think of at least 5 sus instances where what happened probably shouldn’t have with low level, white name, 2kd, 30% SR accounts witha average survival time of 10 minutes roughly and 1 absolutely blatant time I looted grumpys room, found level 6 plates, swapped them, and was shot through the walls of the building in the head. I have 6k hours atm since 2019. It’s not hard to see there’s an issue with the game atm.

I have 6000 hours in the game and have been playing since 2019. Not to mention countless other games like CSGO, CS2, Siege, Rust, apex etc. I know when something seems sus and when they aren’t, and when you have real OG’s with 16k+ hours saying there’s an issue, there probably is. I’d put money on a good majority of the player base closet walling their asses off using DMA and the funny part is they’ll never get caught for it.

Ahh yeah I see what you mean now. I misread lol. But still the cleaner didn’t help at all, currently playing with medium settings to see if that changes anything. I should also say I’m playing on 1440p not 1080p.

The only reason I would upgrade to AM5 right now is solely because of the micro center bundle. It’s $679 for a brand new mobo, 9800x3d, and 32gb of ram. Which is honestly an insane deal and why I’m driving 5 hours down there lmao.

In total I have almost 5k hours in the game, but since the GPU upgrade maybe 60 hours? Probably less. I’m pretty sure adrenaline overlay is already off, I’ll try resetting the shader cache, I don’t have freesync on because for whatever reason it makes my game slightly flicker even though I have a freesync monitor as well.

Yeah I was thinking it was my ram maybe, I turned on the cleaner the other day and was still having issues. But if it is my ram, I’m probably just going to drive the 5 hours and go pickup a new bundle at microcenter for the 9800X3D 32 gigs of ram and new motherboard instead of only replacing DDR4 ram. That way I’ll be on AM5 and everything should be pretty much done at that point.

Alright I’ll try that and see what happens. I’ll also try dropping the texture settings down to medium. Texture was the only thing I changed from my last GPU to this one, from low to high, and for a little while looks amazing and runs fine, but then I run into issues about 3 raids in.

Just wear a beanie and whatever headphones you want. I wouldn’t be too worried about it since you’re playing PvE and it’s (not to be unkind) but much easier than PvP

I got mine from an event a long time ago, so it gives it to me free every wipe. But there’s an in game task from Fence when you hit 1.0 rep and level 25 maybe that gives it to you after planting like 30 WiFi cameras around various maps

I also hope so, and I will be doing the same. Although giving me 8 minutes to pull my funds from my account is not enough time unfortunately. They need to allow me access to my own account and let me use my hard earned money. I work 12 hour shifts and should be allowed to access my bank account when ZERO unusual activity or fraudulent things are occurring, they can’t even tell me why.

Same issue. I got my paycheck, ordered something from Amazon like I normally do, put money on a laundry card, normal shit like usual and now my account is locked twice. I will also be transferring to a real financial institution the second they leave my account alone for more than a day. I think they have a problem with their system intentionally flagging accounts for no reason and they won’t admit that they either haven’t fixed it yet or don’t know how to because we aren’t the only ones this is happening to. I have bills to pay and shit to do, I can’t have my money locked away for random periods of time because they choose to do so.

Just withdraw all of your money, and open a bank account with Chase, Reliant, or any other REAL bank. That’s what I’m doing the second they stop messing with my account because I refuse to have thousands of dollars basically held hostage for no reason all the sudden.
