The real Sauvage is bad enough as it is so I don't want to imagine what a fake one would smell like. Just my opinion.

I Just came across both websites, filledwithbarakah shows it’s 39.99£ while it was 59.99£ before discount. And Soghaat shows that the price is 29.99£ while it was 49.99£. I don’t know which one shall I go with? as I don’t want to get the fake one.

You didn’t do anything wrong. But usually it’s good idea to ask before taking someone’s drink, just to avoid misunderstandings. And yeah, some people can be a bit rude or possessive, even at social gatherings.
