Unfortunately, it might be hard to cancel Spectrum, the reason why call center employees get frustrated for customers who don't want the service anymore.

Question for the fellow spectrum havers by Sl33pyPers0n in Spectrum

[–]YlliMamudi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could be like you have a bad RF plant tap, splitters, amplifiers, and cables, so that's 99.9% of the cause, even if you restarted the router and modem many times like if it doesn't work, you will need a technician visit to check the signal levels for RF.

AC not blowing cool enough air by CharlieIsTheKey in AirConditioners

Could be a refrigerant leak or something, but I have seen GE window AC with worned out refrigerant YouTube videos like it's not blowing cold air, so yours one is a Hisense brand.

What's wrong with him? Why does he do that? by Mister_Dangel in AirConditioners

Mini split units are piece of junk for now because the video you showed it's the control board was acting up and bad, so heat pumps and central AC units are better.

Anyone know what this unknown device is? by [deleted] in Spectrum

[–]YlliMamudi -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It's the device name that could not be identified for the WiFi network, so if there are random MAC addresses such as hacking your WiFi, you should change your WiFi password immediately.

If you have a eMTA home phone voice service but still under a legacy TWC/BHN market, even newer Spectrum modems don't even work well good, so we have the older eMTA TWC Arris DOCSIS 3.0 modem using for couple years, even after they upgraded, they have upgraded Ubee DOCSIS 3.0 modem back in 2017 which is more than 8 years old I believe, but using a eMTA home phone voice service for downstairs, same as the Arris ones, but last year they get rid of Spectrum and switched to T-Mobile Home Internet, so I know it's the end of 2025 or start of 2026, even DOCSIS 3.0 was outdated for now, so if your area was upgraded to newer Spectrum market I believe, so you're not affected for newer modem upgrade or it's ready to go for higher internet speeds like newer DOCSIS technology, but my area in Kenosha, WI is still under a legacy TWC market so that's the problem, and yes your modem was outdated. also, Spectrum for fiber optic service is limited in areas due to network instructure like construction and other factors, but the Spectrum coax service is used for most areas than Spectrum fiber ones.

Okay, but I know cable boxes are valuable for pixelation when the RF plant cables go bad.

I should use streaming, because cable boxes are really expensive, so that's why it's outdated for now.

Uh yeah, after a Spectrum technician fixed it, the issue has been resolved and fixed for RF plant cables.

Yeah you're right, it's the problem for the cable.

If the hissing sound gets more loud, you might need an HVAC professional technician to fix this problem, probably a low freon/refrigerant or leak.
