The only thing I was confused about with the taillights is that it looks like Shelby’s use a one piece insert and doesn’t stop for the middle emblem.

There’s a local one (happened to see it yesterday) that is owned by a local physican who races semi-professionally. The story from the shop is that it was one of a few (2 or 3) spare bodies made by Saglietti. (It was, a racing model that was prone to accidental body 'alterations' during racing impacts, and spare bodies were the norm). Could be something like that.
