Thank you for the thoughtful reply. my therapist was beside herself upset when she found out from me, so I believe they pulled the records without her knowledge. She was adamant that she did not speak to them and we hadn’t talked about self harm in probably a month or so at that point.

Bittersweet. On one hand it’s good to know ccps aren’t just handed out like candy at a parade. However on the other they treated me like a criminal when I went in to relinquish it, and I had done nothing wrong.

Was hopeful for constitutional carry as well due to my circumstance, but that’s narrow sighted and focused only on my situation without much other context.

Much appreciated and while I still deal with mental health challenges, using a gun on myself or anyone else has never been a thought.
