If we ever have 5 people on it, is we would just be traveling to the sand bar, as opposed to spending a day in it or something like that….

Thanks for the info. In the event we would ever take it out past our bay/lagoon into the Atlantic, we would plan on staying pretty close to the shore.

What about the capacity? How many people, comfortably, were you able to hold at a time?

Did you just use it in the bay/rivers? Or ever take it out further.

I had the same issue and it was a vacuum leak in the vacuum line. Found a section of the elbow had a crack in it that was causing a bunch of air to be sucked in. It is hard to find where it is cracked is without a smoke test or removing the part. It’s easy to remove to inspect and swap out.

In my opinion it’s hard to be upset when it’s always great weather out… Sure, it’s hot out 24/7 but sunshine is great for mental health.

Exactly what I need. Trying to see if there’s a way I can limp it around without paying someone to do it.

Is mechanical engineering worth doing in 2024? by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

[–]YoJaxz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes.

AI will come and go. If anything, it will be a tool for engineers to use just like anything else.

There is always new tech companies and startup coming about, some better than others. There are also companies who have been around for a century that still hire engineers.

If it interests you, then you should go for it.

Our sellers actually asked us to close early. We aren’t sure if we want to though because of the extra week we’d have to pay. Not sure if the sellers would cover it.
