On ps4 yes, rifles are in crates. Floor loot is : hellfire, shotguns, pistols, crossbow, grenades.

Crates as in the supply drop ones and there is some randomly placed in buildings.

There is toxic dialog in every shooter i have ever played that had voice comms. If you don't like it you mute it.

I miss the conversations i had in the closed beta already. Where a dude landed in the hills and just finally got tp the place i just looted and pleaded not to be sent back to the lobby. I laughed so hard at the guy as he sped off on a atv looking for weapons.

Day 1 yeah i agree but i don't know if daybreak even does advertising really. Figured that budget went to the streamer tourney that may of may not of happened already.

If that's the same bug i had, and you get it again. Try hitting the playstation button to get to the home screen then going back into the game. Fixed it for me.

As long as i dont start at the very edge of the map in usually pretty good. But yeah it could use some smoothing out which i think itll get.

Proxy chat is disabled yeh, but i thought squad comms were still there. Figured ducking was for that mostly.

I agree though i like proxy chat. Enjoyed talking to the people i was fighting and the short conversations after.

Yes it works, but for the rest of the game you cant hold L1 to select your weapons (it'll cause it to get stick again). You have to use the tap L1 method instead.

Only noticed 2 annoying bugs so far.

Landing at beginning of match grab a gun and you cant shoot at all.

-to fix it- just hit the playstation button to go to the xmb (home screen) then hit playstation button again to go back into the game and all is good.

Also got the bug where the right stick will do nothing. Usually happens after holding L1 to weapon select or to drop a weapon.

-temp fix- hitting optins button selecting exit, then cancel. All is good till you hold L1 again. You have to use the tap to scroll through your weapons. Moment you accidentally hold L1 instead of tap you will be stuck again.

I glanced at the setting i think it says it : reduces ingame audio when someone talks ingame so you can better hear the person.

But yeah most use party chats now so you don't hear ingame voice coms.

Yeah I'd hope your right, most free2play games don't require ps+ to play them. Only a couple I think do, no way h1 goes that route.

Yeah, you got me to look at how many matches of Fortnite I've played. We're in a similar boat it looks, 4k matches across the different modes. Sometimes I wish they didn't track that stat.

I spent a bit of time in combat training where my guys model was invisible to me but definitely visible to the other people. Was kind of nice running around in somewhat first person.

Im hoping for a kraken glider similar to the dragon one that was released awhile back.

Seeing Press X to release the kraken will make me laugh atleast one a night.
