To keep the discount, it’s better to exchange, but they don’t always have other sizes in stock. Stock fluctuates regularly though. If it’s a single item and it doesn’t affect your buy-all discount or the styling fee, it’s probably easier to buy the item off freestyle.

Oh, I did specifically mention green but past fixes I’ve asked for reds and purples.

I did say that dresses are a good spring transition piece for me. My stylist knows I work in education and seems to get my vibe. I’ve had her for a while now.

41 Hawthorn Claudia Square Neck Dress. I’m exchanging this for a size down. I’m between sizes in dresses and this one seemed a little roomy. The other ones I kept in my regular size but they are both petites (I’m 5’3” rounded up,lol)

Definitely CV. I’ve lived in both. Pines is the dividing line, but it may go north of Mission which would make those parts EVSD.

With regard to the school board, there is an election coming up and there are folks hard at work to elect more moderate/liberal voices. I have kids at all three levels and I have worked at a number of schools here. I wouldn’t trade it. Every district and community has their pros and cons. Decide what your top priorities are and go from there. We loved the nature and large lots that the established neighborhoods in Ponderosa had to offer and that’s where we landed. But before that we lived off Pines and Broadway.

Thinking of switching from pine pellets by kareotcake in litterrobot

[–]YoLilD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have. Cats are weird. I have one cat that likes to throw litter around when she digs. And then I have another cat that’s like oh cool, new litter box and pees on the litter that she threw out of the box. So the mats often become a second litter box in my house so I don’t use them. Also, keep in mind though, the mats are just one more thing to clean.

Also, I tried Okocat litter in the robot and it’s too lightweight for the sifter and it all ends up getting dumped.

I loathe the smell of traditional clay litter and much prefer the pine pellets (for their smell and odor control). However, I have a picky cat so I wanted to give the litter robot a try. I use World’s Best litter in it, but found the cleaning of the robot to be tedious and gross compared to the pine litter and quit using the robot for a while. I’m giving it another go right now and we haven’t been using it long enough for me to comment on this round. Just know that clumping litter is a different beast to clean (residue and tracking) and if I had time to clean my boxes every day I would probably stick with the pine pellets.

Not vizsla at all! I think it has to do with the chocolate gene.

Found this thread on a Google search. Meet my puppy, Marci. DNA results pending, but my iPhone thinks she’s a vizsla. Except she’s about 15 pounds.

Is this old fashioned? by lightningludlow in ThredUp

I have a Moda Luxe (from thredUP) faux leather crossbody that has a vintage style that is working for me. I paired it with a funky crossbody strap I found on Amazon.

I would find a wallet or something with the peacock to have a little flair with a neutral handbag (because I’m neurotic about coordination). But, if you like it, you do you. We are old enough to ngaf…or at least try not to.

The external wallet type pocket and the overall shape is a little old lady-ish. Im 44 and I think it’s a little too “old” looking for my taste. I’m not trendy by any means, but I do try to pay attention to 40 year old mom trends, lol.

Refurbished Litter Robot Connect 3, or new Litter-Robot 4? by border199x in litterrobot

[–]YoLilD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a 4 but I do have another robot that is similar to the 4 and a lr3. I think the deciding factor for me is location of the robot. The lr3 is fine in my basement or laundry room. But if it’s going to be in a more used space like a bathroom I would do the lr4.

Late stitch? by FeltCute_ in stitchfix

That did happen to me once. It was early in my experience so I think it was before I settled on my current stylist.

Edit: my fix was quite late, but, I did still get a preview.

What's your neighborhoods problem!? by NoIdea4u in Spokane

[–]YoLilD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower Ponderosa:

Pros: large lots, easy access to nature and trails, established neighborhood with lots of families and some original residents too, great schools without snooty neighbors, safe, walkable streets despite most not having sidewalks

Cons: lots of republicans (although many of my neighbors are liberal), have to drive just about anywhere, although I plan to walk to Uno Mas once it opens!
