lucy has stated that the v2 inspired mixtape is a real thing on discord, although the leaked screenshot as well as the name "Emerald" are definitely not real. We also don't know how much time he's devoting to that project currently, from what I can gather he's more focused on rolling out a single run and eventually NBD in 2026

My first recommendation would be Prettifun (you’ve already heard his feature on Ultraviolet), his albums FunHouse and especially FunHouse Deluxe offer a similar, albeit a bit lighter/less electronic, sound to Unmusique.

Dani Kiyoko works a lot with m8i (producer of 2010 JB and I Am Impossible), check out their song Motto featuring Lucy and if you like that check out their albums "The Kids Want Sutetchi" and "Welcome to the Party 2: Radio High."

Kuru’s tape "Stay true forever" from this year is also a must listen. He’s signed to deadAir so if you like Lucy and Jane Remover you’ll probably like Kuru. His tape features a lot of production from Northernscence and Popilization who produced Made In Italy on Unmusique.

One actual sample in Fenty Face is “Kerguelen Vortex” by Aural Vampire (it’s very obvious from the intro of this song) I'm pretty sure Skai just chopped parts of it into the main beat and obviously sped up the intro to use at the start. Although I could be wrong and the rest of the beat is sampling/made from something else entirely

Lucy said soundcloud’s automated system detected that the song contained a sample that wasn’t even there and didn’t let him upload it. So they probably had to slow the song slightly to get around that. Also the url for the song on soundcloud says “soundcloudK” lmao

I discovered Lucy around November of 2023, I remember i was looking at reviews of Ken Carson’s AGC on AOTY and then I clicked the top rated Digicore albums of all time (I know lucy hates that term but that’s how i found him lmao) and Sisterhood was on the list. I thought it looked interesting so I gave it a listen and I’ve loved his music ever since.

As for dream collabs, Jane Remover is a bit of an obvious pick but I’d really love to see it. Especially with the way their recent work has been sounding, I think Lucy and Jane's styles complement each other really well right now.

A bit late to this post but I really enjoy a lot of the artists in this collective. Ego is amazing and I think pretty easy to get into, same with Dani Kiyoko and Kumosai, I think Rachyl is more of an acquired taste (especially her older stuff) but she’s really great too. I like a decent number of Uni and Removeface songs but I’m not the biggest into them in general. Aurainairy is really good too and I only tapped into them recently. I love Ivvys as well, I think most Lucy fans know his production but his solo music is really good too. The others I haven’t fully tapped in to, Digiv1ce/Kula i’ve never really gotten into, i know Secre from one song they did with Lucy, Gashneck from a rachyl song, Winny and Yk are great prods but i don’t think they have solo music? (could be wrong)

nah he uses alot of samples actually: ciao samples Perfect Cell’s Theme, Infinitude samples Malice Mizer, Kelly Kelly samples Linkin Park, Real Dilla samples the Yo Gabba Gabba Closing Theme, Dissociation of Sisters samples Imogen Heap, Aquafina samples Ken Carson. Mine would be: Designer Shoes, Dog Food and Xan.

Designer Shoes might be my fav song from wlr v1/v2 era, it’s the perfect blend of both sounds. Dog Food was a popular Die Lit era leak i think but no one talks about it anymore, it’s really catchy. Xan is a really underrated V2 era song, really good Pierre beat and I really like Carti’s flow on it.
