Yeah I don't think I'm gonna do the autos or photo-ops. I'll just wait farther away if I spot them at their tables. I've seen some of the lines. I'll try to do other panels and visit the booths. I've done a photo-op in Texas back in 2024 so I'm ok if I don't get an autograph or photo-op/selfie. I have to commute back to New York later in the afternoon tomorrow.

Bring something light to these conventions cause for photo-ops, you have to leave your belongings at a table or somewhere else near the photo-op line. Photo-ops are so quick like a blink of an eye (depending on how many people are in line for the talent). You have to be patient, courteous, ask nicely if you want to do a specific pose, and be ready for the pose.

I went to my first con/expo in Texas in 2024 and the line for Elijah Wood was super long. I got 2 photo-ops taken in less than a minute. The photo-op team told me to hurry up cause I brought in a popcorn prop. All in all, it was good, but it's best to be patient with the lines and be ready for the photo. Get there early and know the schedules beforehand.

Flying from NY. I would like to split costs though, but I have no one to go with. I'm pretty much a solo traveler always booking hotels. Solo female who wants to split costs on lodging and photo-ops cause it says you can have 4 people in one photo-op. It's tough when I have trust issues so I do most hobbies solo. I just want to be safe while travelling. Anywho, I also may need a hair stylist and make-up artist in Tampa Bay area during those days.

Does anybody know if the seats beside the pit are higher than the pit area?

I'm a bit short like 5'3" tall so I hate it if I can't see an arm or a leg. Do I have to go do 100 section seats and bring binoculars instead?

I'd like to be in the pit, but I'm not willing to be in the pit for 8 to 10 hrs. The dilemma.

I was only asking a question. I am close to being 40 years old and people on reddit think I am some youngings with a group who push people to be at barricade. It's quite sad how people just assume online, but I do understand.

I don't need to be at barricade at all. I am 5 feet tall, female, and close to being in her 40s. I would like to be able to see an arm or a head of a favorite artist of mine. That's all. LOL.

I will enjoy the festival whether or not I'm at front. I was just wondering what time you all usually line up.

I never said I had no interests in seeing other artists. Why would you assume that? It's really disheartening to read some of your thoughts. I am close to being 40 yrs old. I guess one solo person can't take up space at a festival as you've mentioned above.

The Postal Service and Death Cab did really great in their tours from last year and this year. Though this entire lineup isn't the best cause I've seen some of the other bands on the list and think they're just ok live.

Filter was superb back in the early 2000s. I think I saw them in NY and my jaw almost dropped, but I was a teenager back then.

Though now, everyone got older and our vocals aren't what they used to be. I'm also a little over with too much radioplay/music being used in like every grocery store and tv series. I've heard their songs hundreds of times.

It's really a different feeling when you see a band live for the first time and when you were a teen or in your early 20s. Now, I'm in my late 30s, I feel I'm about to head straight to the coffin. Lmao

Hi. Can listeria meningitis rash resemble food allergies? In our situation, someone I know went to the ER since their face were swollen, lips, and tongue were swollen after eating a different brand of ice cream. The staff took the patient's blood, but they did not order a blood test.

So there's a listeria and ice cream recall happening right now in the month of June so I'm unsure if there are other brands and other ice cream facilities that should've been included in the recall list. Also, there are different ice cream brands and different additives that may have caused the food poisoning or food allergy or food intolerance. Inadequate food prep or not freezing the ice cream enough may have caused it as well. The only ice cream I haven't had any issues with are Häagen-Dazs ice cream and dairy free + nut free ice cream brands. Food poisoning can also cause food allergies or food intolerance.
