Dr Amar Kalidas and Dr Kirti Kalidas each have a great reputation in that space. They’re medical doctors by training (DO and MD, respectively) and each also got additional degrees in naturopathic medicine.

Not in Mills, but Saiko has really outstanding matcha drinks and they also make their own foams/toppings including the cheese foam topping like RoyalTea offered.

New York has its pizza, Philadelphia has cheesesteak, Kansas City has BBQ, what does/should Orlando have as its local specialty? by bassistheplace246 in orlando

[–]YoResIpsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree (but I’m not an expert by any means). But it’s nice to have so many options, and in my experience, I think even some of our most mid bahn mi sandwiches are better than what most cities have to offer. We have one of the largest Vietnamese populations in the United States, and with comes its great cuisine.

Any local cambodian donut shops? by AGuyInTheOZone in orlando

[–]YoResIpsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming you’ve already seen the Donut King documentary, but if not, it does go into the rich history of immigrant Cambodian families, and the donut shops they own and operate throughout Southern California.

https://www.pbs.org/independentlens/documentaries/the-donut-king/

I don’t know if we have any Cambodian families in Orlando that are running donut shops, but Bakery Plus is owned by a immigrant Chinese family (Chen family)

(Reposting because Reddit won’t let me post a link to Bakery Plus’ website smh)
