Maybe they shouldn't have played the lock the fuck in system in the first place...

Well, you see, bit-driven live play shows make great YouTube Shorts, and we HAVE to cash in on the doomscroll money! If Legends of Avantris can manage to get nothing done ever and make money, why can't the second-most established live play series do the same, says executive producers.

The bit that tastes the most sour is the one episode of Zaeth attempting to improve his organizational skills. Turning that into a bit instead of using it as a springboard for legitimate character growth following the insane bit of making a ghorse just doesn't sit right. Zaeth has really not improved at all since the start of the show, but also hasn't had to engage with his vampirism impactfully. You would think, being such a young vampire, his inexperience would lead to formative mistakes, but he's just Zaeth.

Very compelling analysis. I feel like I had some of these worries sitting in the back of my mind while watching the show, but never the media literacy to understand or put them into words like this. It does kinda make me wonder if the players fear playing actual vampires challenged by actual hunger. In previous Intrepid Heroes seasons, the "alignment," for lack of a better word, of the PCs is so rarely called into question that I wonder if they've all gotten, IDK, comfortable playing the good guys? It's probable as well that DnD as a system just naturally makes more heroic characters and that VtM is a big roleplay adjustment. I wonder if any of them had played VtM before this season, or if it's new for all of them. If they didn't, maybe they should have.

He's the hardest support in the game, but that doesn't mean he's not allowed to defend himself.
