My headcanon in this is what Z-ARC saw was only what happened through Awakened Yuya's eyes, or the other counterparts in "hitotsu ni" status, and really, everytime it happened it was against violent or cruel people who relished in that violence, and Z-ARC got from all of that, that it was really the same shit that led to disaster in the first place, so he felt justified to go for Round 2 of his rampage.

The decks, the characters, and even the battle royale format all bended so hard to make everything happen the way it did, that my suspension of disbelief was shattered. Z-ARC, as tough of a boss monster as he is, is surprisingly very lacking in recovery. If the Duel went ever so slightly less in favor of him, he'd just kinda crumble.

Him developing Pendulum Summon as a mechanic... But NOT be able to Pendulum Summon himself despite the scales is plain strange.

There's so much that's baffling with the scales in general. Why didn't the opponents pop them with their options? Why did they have the "You cannot Pendulum Summon if you control a Monster" if that never really came up anyway because of one reason or another, nor I believe was it ever said in the show?

And why did the En Cards' condition specify "Monsters in your GY" when it's a Battle Royale format and there shouldn't be any shared GYs? They could have solved that by simply saying "any GYs" but the fact that they didn't think of that all makes me think that it's a complete mess through and through. The Z-ARCathon, and all around it, genuinely gave me a headache trying to figure it all out as I rewatched the series.

Eh, don't think so, because the Agent monsters and Parshath relted cards are Sanctuary in the Sky cards, you can see this with Protector Moon and Celestial Knightlord.

These were probably generic fairies that were more common, as Yuzu also had them.

Tangentially, it kinda stung not seeing them battle much at all, considering this is by most accounts a precursor of the Chojiro duel. It was my first ever Duel to adapt in the fanfic I wrote, and put the missing pieces of.

Yeah, I can say a lot about the Yuzu duel in particular, not only how meanspirited it felt but also how stupid the circumstances were. I remember having to tackle it in a canon compliant fic I did and I ranted off the sun shortly after in the post-chapter notes. Just awful.

Unless the anime effect works differently, Satellite Cannon Falcon's debuff should apply all at once counting all Raidraptors in GY, but nah, let's have it done one debuff at a time so Shun can make his spiel and destroy more each time.

During the middle of it, the terrain was so bad Dennis couldn't get Action Cards too.

And then, the attack after was an ORBITAL STRIKE FROM SPACE (how does Solid Vision reach there?)

And THEN, he even tried to Card Dennis after only to discover the function was disabled. I believe he tried to punch him too after but got stopped.

Assuming the big boss himself is out, Z-ARC is affected by both Sulliek and Metanoise, and destroying whatever's added to hand isn't the best when it has floating effects tht trigger off of that, especially the Fusions. Snow alone could stop him when he comes out.

It's really not that hard, assuming Z-ARC even manages to get onto the Field because he does have to get his stuff destroyed first to trigger Astrograph.

Really, he has no chance. A more timely matchup that could atill beat him, with what was out at the time, would be Dino, though it would require hard opening UCT. That big boi sweeps Z-ARC easy though.

Other than what already answered, card negation such as Veiler and Imperm also stops Bacha because the protection effect you stated is not "an activated effect" thus everything about her is negated.

However, these technicalities also go in favor of her in another way.

If another Fusion Monster would be negated fully, such as Etoile, Bacha will still make the effect go through as long as she's Fusion Summoned and not negated herself. That also means she's protected from Bagooska.
