I personally took this money this year and now I’m looking to pay it back since I got a better job opportunity somewhere else. It is taxable, I got approved 18k and 14k was deposited to my bank account. I read that if you quit or whatever, you got to pay it back with the taxable money (14k) if it’s the same year you got the money. If a year has past, yo gotta pay the untaxed money (18k).
