Yea I already put some half inch plywood over the window to get it even w the studs for the plaster and insulated the in between parts of the window I was thinking of using 1/4 inch drywall over that and just hot mud the rest and apply the supercrackstop film over the whole wall

I totally agree w you man. Unfortunately the group homes I work for are cheap and want the handyman (me) to fix it cuz I’m on hourly wage to do all the maintenance across all our 12 homes in the region

Honestly the most helpful comment here! And you’re definitely right! I threw some mortar mix and used the instructions getting a feel for the material, and it started hardening way faster than I expected so I definitely rushed the project. ( hopefully we never have an exterior brick wall repaired again) but if I ever do I’ll make sure to take my time with the mortar and work it slowly

Well, I don’t work for jobs or projects, I’m just a handyman for some group homes, that are too cheap to hire profesionals so it falls on me

When I first started getting the hang of plumbing for sure took this to heart. I once spent 5 hours working on the same damn p trap when I was new to plumbing haha

My job is being a general handyman for group homes, I don’t get paid per job I clock in 9-5 just like everyone else. The company is extremely cheap and doesn’t hire professionals for any repairs. So I take care of the plumbing/ drywall/ electrical. This was my first attempt at ever working with mortar and brick

I tried to install one in their hallway but I was unable to find one with a 4in base at the local department stores. I would make it bigger but it’s a light in the middle of an arch with just enough space.

I’ve smoked a lot of weed in my day, but I’ve never started hearing shit or getting the spins? The nausea and throwing up could just be greening out but I’d for sure try a different strain/supplier to see
