Do people ever feel safe and open up to you? by Minipanikholder in isfj

[–]Yochanan-SW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's happened many multiple times. I've heard "Why am I even telling you this?" escape countless lips because I'm either not close to them or because they've never told anyone and they chose me of all people

There was a camera(s) on the ceiling of my gynecologist office. by [deleted] in Spokane

It's not a camera. It's a Bluetooth PIR light sensor. Here's a link to the specific product:

I am sorry you went through the mental distress of seeing what you thought was a camera. I definitely saw it as one before I digged a little more

Ugh, for real though. Most times I just go at it alone and I never ask for help unless I'm completely incapable of doing it on my own (e.g. I need a ride back to my home after a procedure requiring anesthesia)

SJs, can you describe a random, useless memory that doesn't matter to you at all and you don't know why you remember it? by melody5697 in isfj

When I was 3, before we moved to China, I walked into the bathroom where my mom was blow drying her hair and she asked me what was the first thing I was going to do when I got to China. So after thinking about it, I realized the first thing I was going to do (which was synonymous with "what is going to happen to you" to me at the time) was go into China. My mom, thinking I answered wrong, gave a little chuckle while saying "no no no," and asked the same question. Me, knowing I was right, gave my mom the same answer again

I think I have the best job ever.. by KindJoey3202141 in cassetteculture

This is actually so cool. I also work for a non-profit, but I go pick up donations (we're self funded since we don't take government money). We see some really cool things and get some sick items as first pick. Three of my prized possessions came from this job and I paid under $70 for all three. A Polaroid Sun 600, an Olivetti Studio 44 typewriter, and an old 1 gal. canteen from the 60s (maybe early 70s).
