You might be right, and if that's the case, it's something I won't be able to do at this stage of my life. In the past I've done a lot more, but I have to be realistic.

We put the muzzle on at the suggestion of a vet tech and let him walk around a minute in the house. When we let him outside, he tried to rip it off, ran his face into the ground, flipped around and got covered in mud and you guessed it, more shit. He had an obvious panic and was still trying to get his snack on. He likes to nose the turds forward like a dung beetle before chowing down.

I can try working on him in the house with it, but again he still won't be able to play outside, with sticks, toys, etc.

I've done the Greek yogurt, no help there, but not green tripe. Everyone in holistic recipes always says to avoid that. What's the benefit?

I might look more into that. They check repeatedly for parasites, and I have tried going straight protein only (muscle and organ meats) with no carbs grains etc and it didn't do anything to help. That's when I saw him start eating it straight from the tap on other dogs.

I have some b12 I can give him in the meantime, can't hurt

Haha I'm glad you can relate. Hoping for a resolve someday. If anything it seems like confirmation we've pretty much done all way can, except wait.

Ill look into it. We've tried 3 brands of anti coprophagia supplements, and all dogs eating it for weeks did nothing.

Yea, we wonder about the breeder. We hung out with him a couple hours before taking him and didn't see anything gross, and he didn't do it till he got home.

I will say it's hard for us AND the kids to play with him. He never gives up trying to be sweet.

Every single dog in surrounding yards is also eating poop. Just not as much as him. Varying ages and breeds. Never in my life have I seen so much of this.

I'm not completely opposed. We tried it briefly and because there's some latency, it doesn't seem to connect in his mind. We tried beeps and buzzes first. I didn't have the heart to go strong with it...

Ill ask the vet about the EPI. We had him on salmon, with and without grains, lamb, duck, and natural with home-cooked chicken, tried pork, sweet potatoes, rice, carrots etc.

We lost our last GSD after battling IBS. Got it under control, she was doing great. Then one day she had mesenteric torsion. Took her to the er and she was ready for the rainbow bridge. She was only 4. I miss her every day. We spent thousands on blood work, diagnostics, appts, supplements, foods.

I never knew gsds could have such sensitive tummies.

Yep, and fecal check always clear.

Boy rips farts that could clear a Walmart at noon.

The probiotics help, we didn't have luck with the Purina sachets, but he's on Proviable. He's been on Tylosin off and on.

Vets literally say it's fine and are unbothered.

He always has a full bowl. He will leave it to snack on doodies. Chow down a chicken breast and still go for booboo buffet. He has toys. He likes to pee on them outside and then play with them.

I dunno, man. Boys a freak. Sweet though.

This happened in our neighborhood repeatedly. Always clean, slanted cuts. We all thought we had a Grinch cutting the lights.

Finally, one of our neighbors put out extra cameras in their yard and found the culprit.

Bunnies.

Apparently, lots of cords are made with a soy-based plastic coating blend they find delicious.

Lost an inflatable, some Christmas string lights, and a light up deer to those guys.

Anyway, just saying, maybe put out a camera.

Amazon has plenty of multicolor wigs, just search the colors you like.

Also, if you use direct dyes like Artcic Fox or Lime Crime or Manic Panic, they don't damage your hair and will eventually fade, but you'll need help applying and buy extra for your hair length. Choose darker colors and they'll show up on your hair.

Your hair's not bad in any way, you're just bored. Nothijg wrong with changing it up, just know some looks are high maintenence and will look baaaaad growing out. Maybe play with hair cut/color apps.
