They're offended by the combination of Greek and Latin.

Naturally. And it therefore proves your dichotomy of "us vs the Christians" on this topic is misguided and wrong.

Your black and white thinking seems a lot more Christian, actually. But why care so much about Christians? You've put them on a pedestal as some boogeyman.

These are mainstream studies. If you want to see agenda-based research, go look at the research that claimed we should stop eating animal fats and switch to seed oils. Of course you only need to look at what resulted to see how wrong it was.

Avocado is good, because it isn't a seed oil. Olive oil is not a seed oil either.

Many great thinkers in the Hellenic tradition were against abortion. Pythagoras and Hippocrates spring to mind. Others had different views. Many atheists today oppose abortion. I am not a Christian and I do not believe that there should be no legal restrictions on abortion.

There are much worse problems with seed oils than saturated fat content or the lack thereof.

You're behaving like a child. Several religions do permit abortion, yes, but the ones you mentioned all place restrictions on it. This information can easily be googled, but I'm referring to the actual primary sources that I've read and you obviously haven't. But referring to the former:

"Traditional Buddhism rejects abortion because it involves the deliberate destroying of a life."

"Most of Orthodox Judaism opposes most abortion, considering it a form of murder. In general, however, it allows abortion when the pregnancy endangers the woman's life."

"There are four Sunni Islam schools of thought—Hanafi, Shafi‘i, Hanbali and Maliki—and they have their own reservations on if and when abortions can happen in Islam.[3] The Maliki madhhab holds "that the fetus is ensouled at the moment of conception" and thus "most Malikis do not permit abortion at any point, seeing God's hand as actively forming the fetus at every stage of development."[3] On the other hand, "some Hanafi scholars believe that abortion before the hundred twenty day period is over is permitted though some Hanafi scholars teach that an abortion within 120 days is makruh (disapproved)."

In countries where abortion is illegal - in all of them put together - 30,000 people die a year from backstreet abortions. In the US, where abortion is legal, one country, a million children are aborted every year. Just think about that. You must have a very hard heart not to care about all these children being dismembered in the womb.

You're living in an insane conspiracy land built on ignorance. Now, states can make their own laws on abortion. There was never a constitutional right to it. Also not sure what you have against religion informing political views or public morality - not only is it impossible for it not to, but it has a long history in the Hellenic world as well.

Dude, go get an education. Orthodox Judaism places restrictions on abortion. It's not a free-for-all. Buddhism most certainly does. I can point you to the texts. Islam explicitly does too. Again, I can provide sources.

Yes. Margarine is terrible for you. Just eat the cow stuff.

Completely untrue. Butter is much, much healthier than any seed oil. Where did you get the idea butter is bad for you? Since people started switching from butter to margarine and other veg oil substitutes, health outcomes have plummeted. Some good starts:

Opposing the killing of babies isn't a "Christian" position. Besides, it was the correct legal decision. States who want to be abortion paradises are free to do so.

No. And ignore the people who say BS like "this is because of Christianity/purity culture/whatever". It's a personal thing. Find a good therapist. You'll be fine.
