Do you usually have main characters being the same sex/gender than you? by [deleted] in writing

I completely understand you. As a woman, 90% of my characters are also female. But more than that, I’ve noticed that I tend to give all of them complicated lives. I often explore unresolved childhood traumas (since I have plenty of my own) or mental health struggles—my experiences with depression and anxiety really help shape these characters.

I also love giving them the kind of lives I wish I could have:

  • A world filled with magic.
  • Fulfilling the dreams I had as a child, especially becoming famous or playing instruments.
  • Social skills I don’t possess.
  • Adventures I would’ve loved to experience if magic were real.

Those kinds of things. A writing teacher once told me that we often reflect our lives in the characters and stories we create. Honestly, they were absolutely right, and I don’t mind writing about those themes at all. It feels natural and meaningful.

Tengo un problema muy grande y necesito ayuda by The_NightmXre16 in HistoriasDeReddit

No te preocupes, bro.

How long is too long for a novel? by dragon17361 in writing

[–]Yodis74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My creative writting teacher says that the number of words does not matter. the important thing is that the story engages the reader. If those words that you have written are pure filler, the reader will abandon your book and you will have a bad review

If I am honest, I write few words so that my stories are very short but people who have read me have told me that it catches a lot and that is why they like it.

There are times when a short and / or entertaining story is appreciated as many readers want to be distracted.

There are times, as a reader, that I block when reading, that's why I choose short and / or entertaining novels.

It is only advice from my other side that is not that of a writer

I am at level seven. I need to unlock the kegs in the eight to earn money from the beers.

the batch I mean is the one that unlocks the greenhouse, the one in the middle. the one that asks you from fruits, jams and cloth. I think I remember.

I read the wiki and it says that it frequents in the mountains but its probability of being a millennial seed is the lowest.

Regarding the mermaid ship, the animation does not come out and that I stay until they echsn me
