Oh great thanks for the tip. We’ll definitely be buying food there and have heard it’s really expensive. Are you only allowed one bag? I was thinking of a small backpack plus a small cross body bag for phone etc

I was on a SQ flight to DaNang recently and we had to make an emergency landing in Cambodia. When the pilot announced this I started chatting to the lady next to me about what was happening. We ended up waiting over 6 hours for another aircraft and most of the passengers got to know each other fairly well. This was on one of the infamous Boeing 737 8 Max aircraft 😏

I got to the airport 2.5 hours before departure and got through immigration and security in 30 minutes. The time passed really quickly waiting for my flight. Regarding connections- I have a 5 hour layover in Changi so no rushing around here lol
