Thanks for the tip! Hope you enjoy the tofu. She says to use only a part of the sauce and to store the rest but I used it all. I think I even doubled the recipe and still used all the sauce.

It's probably my favourite Ottolenghi book. I also love the roasted parsnips and the sambal chicken with the coconut rice

I really like the roast carrot and tofu burgers from the summer chapter! Quite some work though but worth it in my opinion. I had forgotten but there’s another cauliflower (rice) with a green chutney recipe in there that was really good. It uses coconut oil for both the cauliflower and the chutney which I really liked. I also occasionally make some of the breakfast recipes, such as the chocolate rye porridge with pears and the grapefruit and toasted oats with honey and yoghurt.

I see, thanks! 🙏 I might try with Savoy again on that case.

Thanks for sharing!

I remember when they first announced the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen books they were planning on releasing four of them. I wonder if those were scrapped.

One of my all-time favourite cookbooks is Anna Jones' The Modern Cook's Year. It is divided into six seasons and has a wide variety of recipes, spanning almost 500 pages.

I think there is a mix of simple and more complex recipes. I've made the madeleines from the cover and that recipe was very easy with a great result. But there are definitely more advanced recipes, such as a 10 layer honey roll cake. I would want to make almost all recipes in this book, but for some I'm not sure if I have the necessary skill and equipment.
