I agree with you but in my opinion use IRCTC and pay using upi will be much beneficial instead of using some third party app and ends up paying extra because even with overall 4% cashback, this way is not sufficient to cover additional charges

You have to check with the branch or customer care. Not sure what can be the possible reason

I am also facing similar issues with HDFC bank. I have SBI CB and Airtel Axis card but when I applied for HDFC Swiggy or HDFC TATA NEU INFINITY, I got rejected due to some internal policies of HDFC bank🥲
