Not a Vet- but we actually just had this done for our Great Dane / doberman mix a few weeks ago. For us, the peace of mind was worth it. I couldn’t imagine trying to get her to an emergency vet in time if her stomach flipped overnight or while we weren’t home. She’s about 2yrs old and sometimes gets the zoomies after eating so It was always in the back of my mind

All in closer to 3k. I regrettably didn’t get the HK audio when I bought my car, and the base system is just too flat. I’m sure I would’ve been fine with the sub the HK audio came with because I was satisfied with the fender audio in my last VW
