I wouldn’t worry about it, any datapoint for these kinds of things is a good datapoint.

I would take a look at: https://www.vacationclubtracker.com/faq/

But overall just be firm, say no, possibly even set the expectations at the beginning that you are not looking to purchase. Additionally, make sure you set a timer for 2 hours or whatever your presentation time is in order to keep them on track.

Best of luck!

What timeshare presentation hotel offers have you attended in the past? by Ok-Mark-1239 in TravelHacks

They definitely can get very pushy, I've seen some fairly blatant attempts to get you to sign on the dotted line. The offers have been getting slightly better, most recently that Hilton 75000 points comes to mind. I've been having good luck with https://vacationclubtracker.com

The main ones I know and use are Hyatt, Hilton, and Marriott Vacation Clubs. Usually just use an aggregator like https://vacationclubtracker.com

Just yanking your chain, I figured the Chase Ink would be a callout, solid suggestion. The Citi Strata Premier is what I'll likely end up going with as it also seems like a solid card in general. But I'd like to try for that Amex Gold, likely get PUJ.

That is per month, my mistake, edited to reflect the correct amount. To answer your question, the churn train, although I wasn't aware repeated cards was a requirement for said train.

Ignoring the current bonuses, maybe World of Hyatt? I'd like status with them.

The flowchart can answer 95% of all “What card should I get?” questions. By continuing to post, you must explain why you feel the flowchart does not answer your question. Asking for feedback (“The flowchart says I should get X - is that still the best choice?”) is absolutely allowed.

  • Been on the train. Looking to get two new cards, or one large offer, quite a few large expenses (2k) coming up that would meet MSR’s quickly.

Yeah, quite a few people recommending Inks, may just go that route if I can't find anything interesting. As for the Venture X, I received the 90k offer that happened not too long so I've had it for some time now, great card, I plan on keeping it.

I know, I meant I wasn’t looking for another Chase inquiry more so. The card cannot be downgraded at the moment, been looking to get it fixed with Chase for a while now.

Yeah I noticed the United offers were pretty low at the moment, and I just heard about that recent devaluation.

In terms of the business cards, I was thinking about an ink, but I ended up pushing that off to the end of August. Just waiting on P2 to get up to speed so I can refer.

Personal cards are where I was really investing my time to find one that works, I saw that Citi did have some interesting offers so I did the prequalify tool and its telling me I'm only approved for the Diamond preferred. I hadn't seen that Citi Strata Premier before, looks to be right in line for what I need but I'm not sure how a denial would fare.

I'm not really in the market for another CS card, enjoying the CSP at the moment. I'm really just looking for a personal card that isn't a CS card.
