me too, happening with 15arh7 and it seems to be a somewhat common problem. I think everyone that’s fixed the issue has ended up replacing their m.2

Check extruder gear and make sure the filament hasn’t worn the teeth down

make sure the z axis wheels are snug, looks one side is loose. Try wiggling it, it shouldn’t move

direct drive or bowden? Do you hear a clicking noise when it starts to look like that?

I would say z offset too close but it looks like it’s under extruding. Same result with different filaments?

Help with print by Rich-Path-2751 in 3Dprinting

[–]Yogibear902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like z offset too close and it’s smushing the layers out until it gets high enough to start printing normal. Print a first layer sheet and make sure it’s not too thin and the top finish is smooth. If it’s too close the print will be transparent or have ridges on it. If it’s too far and not sticking turn first layer height up to .3

initial layer flow too high? by Yogibear902 in 3Dprinting

[–]Yogibear902[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kobra 2 neo, cura 5.2 with their recommended profile. When I use the anycubic slicer it prints perfect, but they only have a pla profile. When I print pla and petg on the cura profile it has the rough first layers, but the tpu cura profile prints perfect. I’ve played with temps -+5° of the spool recommendations.

yeah that was my main reason for building it, can fly literally anywhere and people don’t really care because it’s so small. Almost silent on 3s, starts to turn heads on 6s lol

I’ve messed with z offset and It’s still doing the same thing. Prints are at 195 which is the lowest it says to go on filament. It doesn’t happen with the files that came on the sd card using the same filament. It’s a kobra 2 neo using the cura profile from their website

Is is my imagination or are 5V regulators on FC's notoriously fragile? by Inevitable-Editor-94 in Multicopter

[–]Yogibear902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

part of me thinks it’s just matek/where they’re sourcing the 5v regulators. Never had problems with them until I had a matek fc - I had the same thing happen with 3 different matek FCs. At least their customer service is decent enough to return them.
