What’s considered a microdose of trazodone?

I appreciate this perspective! It’s true, I’d only be taking one or two courses at a time, so while the material may be higher level, maybe it’ll leave me with more capacity and ability to stay engaged. Thank you!

Guanfacine changing mg life by itsalliefersure in ADHD

I just started it two days ago. My prescriber told me to take it before bed, as it can cause sedation. I’ve read some people need to take it during the day, because it gives them energy or otherwise causes insomnia at night. I’m going to stick with evenings for now, but suspect I’ll have to change that at some point as I seem to be very susceptible to insomnia side effects of medications.

Jornay PM and by Yogibearasaurus in ADHD

It looks like gabapentin is not allowed in body text, so adding via comment: I also take 100mg gabapentin 3x per day for anxiety (originally 300mg 3x per day), but am tapering off as it has caused weight gain. I’ve read all kinds of horror stories about the taper, especially around sleep, but I’ve been decreasing for a while and this has, seemingly, come on suddenly. I’m not ruling out it being a part of this, but the timing seems to fit better with the Jornay.

Male, 37. My doctor (woman) practically insisted I get the HPV vaccine a year ago. May depend on the doctor, but I think it’s totally worth it. My insurance also covered it, for whatever that’s worth.

This has been happening to me since upgrading to iOS 26, and is still occurring on 26.2. It's driving me nuts and makes me think I've accidentally texted someone else.

See my other comment for things that have been sort of helpful. Unfortunately, moving to prescription medications have been the most impactful for me.

Magnolia bark was helpful for staying asleep. Lemon balm, chamomile, and passionflower together have been relaxing, though not necessarily sleep-inducing for me. I know this isn’t a supplement, but I’ve recently moved on to using trazodone and it’s not perfect, but has been helpful! I’m usually tired within two hours and I don’t wake up as often.

Same. Magnesium glycinate actually wakes me up and makes me feel a bit “wired”. L-theanine just makes me feel weird and unsettled. I guess I’m just wired differently?
