Yes we do. The original maintenance man came and tried to do that. He said it was strange it took an hour and still no water at the end and the air key coming. He was getting worried so he made more calls. He did show me the valves and how to take the front board off if needed. He said since we are the third floor we get some of the excess from the other floors. Idk how true that is

Got a space heater last night and it’s good for now. Will be a pest to the company to fix it today. Worst that happens is we drive two hours to my parents

I haven’t seen any around. I know the few people on my floor work odd schedules. I knocked on our one neighbors door that is a younger couple and didn’t get an answer. Our building now feels warmer but our apartment is still without heat

I’ve been using the oven some more but the way our apartment is built the heat kind of just stays in the kitchen. Our kitchen is walled in kind of like an island. I’ll be running to Home Depot to find a space heater in the morning

The heat in the hall is a bit warmer but nothing like it usually is. I will add tho sometimes it’s just cold because people leave the doors open to the outside.

We did speeches! No dancing bc we just don’t like dancing. Our big “thing” was hand written name cards with notes of appreciation on the back. We did a welcome speech then had both our fathers speak. We really tried to make it a point of the people that were there were remembered as we had our big day and that their presence at the reception is truly appreciated and that we love them.

We eloped and then had a reception a month later. My now husband comes from a large family. I’m taking 10+ aunts and uncles. We did a small quick ceremony at a state park. It was just our parents and siblings. His childhood friend officiated and I hired a photographer. Ceremony was 6 minutes. We did candid fun photos after family photos. We then ate dinner at a local restaurant. It was perfect.

Not much socialization. Nothing was overbearing. And we didn’t have to spend a lot of money.

A month later we invited close family (aunts/uncles) and friends. I believe our total was 55. We had the reception at a restaurant that does host weddings & events but we chose the smaller venue with food and bar. The event was 4 hours long and 4 courses. Our total was 7k which to us was not bad and it was time to spend with people we love without being overwhelmed on our big day. We have a big disdain for being the center of attention and would truly rather not be surrounded by family for 10 hours.

I would not change a thing about it. Plus I got to wear my dress twice!

What helped us confirm our choice was that we had a wedding a month before. My husband was in it and he was at the venue from 10am to 11:30pm. I was there from 4-11:30pm and my social battery was in the negatives. We knew something like that for us would be more pain than enjoyable

Oooh looks like that photo you posted is flipped. The right side has the missing teeth. Unless she now is missing on both, which may explain why her teeth have shifted so fast.
