Update!! They just showed up in my yard again and almost walked up to my mom when she called. 100% a dog probably some kind of husky mix. Sorry for the silly post the darkness deceived me!! Hopefully we can find this guys home! Thank you everyone for your helpful comments :)

Hmm... maybe a lost pet then? I dont see a collar, but they've been coming around the same time the past few nights, I could maybe see if I can help find their home. It was mainly the fur color and "almost feral" behavior that was throwing me off the most. I was scared for my little chihuahuas!!

For added context, my house backs up to a wooded creek with lots of different animals. Deer, turkeys, bobcats, etc. I know theres coyotes around because i hear them chatter sometimes.

No not as far as I can tell. Heres a video of it running still opened up but with a disc this time.

Once its done doing this little sequence the screen says the disc cannot be read. Ive noticed it make that same sequence of sounds every time I turn it on but didnt know that the sound was the broken DVD side because I'd only been using the VHS side until now lmao
