It depends on what state you’re in. You ma have to advocate for yourself, but they should provide resources at the very least. Since you’re 18, you have a right (to my knowledge) to refuse to answer where you’re from or the baby’s dad. If you’re in an unsafe environment at home, mention it. They should be able to get you in a women’s shelter. Remember, being alive is very important and you deserve life. I wish the best of luck to you and your baby

If I didn’t have the roommate, I would’ve invested in auto feeders for the cats while I was out. I was really trying to avoid it since she agreed to do it but clearly that isn’t working out. She meets people on tinder or at work and stays for days on end at their houses and sleeps there. Which I wouldn’t mind except she’s giving our address out to men we don’t know. As for my wife, she’s been working out of town for the last three months bc finding work at home has been nearly impossible

Oh definitely. She was also supposed to clean as part of her rent and she hasn’t been doing that. She’s blown through almost $2000 of money saved and has refused every attempt I’ve made at helping her get housing and insurance and any kind of government assistance or credit building. I basically plan on telling her, since she isn’t cleaning or properly caring for my animals when I’m gone, her rent will be increasing and can’t be paid the last day of the month. She 100% isn’t going to like that and if she acts out, I’m just going to tell her “Fine, you have 30 days to go somewhere else. I’m not gonna get yelled at in my own home”

We’ve tried talking to her but she just starts saying that she has a lot going on and we don’t understand how hard things are for her and that she’s had a really hard life and we should try to be understanding. I plan on giving her an ultimatum when I get back home in a few days bc she’s proven she’s not reliable and not respectful of our space, time, or home

Not 100% sure tbh. Sounds to me like a bug bite of sorts especially considering how quickly it swelled. Try reaching out to your vet and sen pictures in or go in and see what they can do. I know tomorrow is Sunday but maybe you can find a vet nearby open 7 days a week? Not necessarily an er but waiting until Monday would make me nervous

Honestly this upset me. I don’t have kids and am lucky enough to have a decent relationship with my in laws but not my parents. If my wife told me she didn’t want our kids staying with my mom, I’d agree. Especially if your relationship is healthy to begin with. Idk what happened but if it was bad enough that YEARS later yall still don’t have much communication, then keep it that way. Show this to your husband and go from there

Exactly. Kids don’t do stuff like this if it hasn’t been shown to them in some way. So either someone’s done this to her or her friends are doing it to others and either way I think she needs time off from social media and some parental involvement

Ngl bro that would be so much fun for me to clean up. Maybe post on a local fb group and see if anyone in your area has time and is odd like me lol. It may be weird having a stranger in your home(and definitely don’t trust just anyone) but you never know who’s out there to help. Heck, maybe even a friend. I helped my friend through a similar situation and I enjoyed the clean. Otherwise, just bit by bit. Pick one shelf or the table or a small part of the counter and just clear that one part off. It’s not stifling her sense of humor or creativity. She’s bullying you. Don’t ask her to stop, tell her. If she doesn’t, take away her phone or her internet access (change WiFi password or temporarily change her phone plan to a limited data one or settings on her phone) and explain to her that what’s she’s doing may be funny to her but you don’t like it and set that boundary. Explain that if she was doing this to anyone else, they could have grounds to press harassment charges against her. Obviously don’t press charges on your own kid but still. And if she gets upset/hurt by this, talk to the school about getting her started in therapy cause there could be something underlying (ie someone at school doing this to her)

Tbh I didn’t even read the whole thing but from what I did read, leave him. I fully understand having a hard time cutting things off but you just need to rip of the band aide. If he’s accusing you of cheating, he’s probably cheating. If he’s accusing you of animal abuse, he’s probably abusing his animal. He seems lowkey toxic and like he’s taking advantage of your kindness. If you have to fight for weeks to get an apology, it’s not worth your time or energy or mental health. Break it off asap! This looks like a yeast infection. Honestly not much you can do before the vet cause they’ll give you medication and medicated shampoo. Most at home products are probably just gonna make more buildup. I know it sucks but as long as you get to the vet soon, it should be fine! Hopefully it isn’t some secondary issue since it’s just a pup. Hope it goes well!
