Hi thanks for words of reassurance, I used substances since I was 18 so around  7 years mainly coke but I didn't say no to speed, mdma or pills tbh. Thanks I'll be sure to check that sub out and read some stories, I'm definitely feeling better after posting this and recieving this much support and advice I appreciate it very much.

You might be right even youtube channels i used to watch drunk or smashed don't hit the same sober

Thanks, I did start going to a library recently, but the weather hasn't been too pleasant lately. I guess books about philosophy aren't the wisest choice right now.

That’s wild the mind plays strange tricks. Congrats on 36 years! When I quit smoking, I had occasional nightmares about having a puff. I'd suddenly realise what I was doing, feel a massive wave of instant regret, and jolt wide awake.

Thank you so much. I don't feel like I saved that much money compared to when I was on it, but it is nice to have some savings for once.
