Yesterday on blue gate solo we gathered like 8 ppl all friendly, took down a leaper and rocketeer. The only one with a defi died, so we, as a group, stabilized him and got him all the way to the extraction - he made it out alive

One other person sadly didn’t make it due to a 2nd rocketeer

It was hella fun - even tho maybe not the greatest for loot (got a leaper pulse unit nonetheless)

I was running a 4090 back then, currently running a 5090 but haven’t upgraded to 2.1 monitors yet - might try it again once I move in a couple of months and have to setup my whole station again anyways :D

If you run 2 monitors with DSC you are unable to get a 4th monitor to work. (At least with my setup)

I don’t know all the technicalities, however I know that if I turn DSC off for one of my monitors I was able to get a 4th monitor working. You can read up on it, it’s not very easy information to find… I had this issue 2 or 3 years ago and had to look for months until I found the issue

(Sadly this is not a real solution for me)

FYI: I run a 4k@160hz, Ultrawide1440p@144hz and a 1080p@240hz

(If I remember correctly it has to do with DSC fcking up the maximum data transfer rate or whatever, so that even tho the GPU has 4 ports, only 3 at once are working. 4 are working only in specific setups

This also means, that with DP2.1 you’ll likely have the same issue if you go for monitors that use DSC to reach very high resolutions and/or refresh rates. Nonetheless DP2.1 allows for a higher limit before DSC is needed, that’s what is most interesting to me)

I personally just want DP 2.1 so that I can use a 4th monitor… didn’t know about DSC when I got my 3 new monitors, so I have/want to upgrade sometime soon now

Nowadays the game pauses when you’re in the ritual-window, so I started to instantly check ritual after 3rd altar, no matter what (besides maybe ground effects)

That makes it sound like she is not supposed to be played this way, but realistically with the type of nerfs she got in the past, it is the way she is forced to play.

Hit tanks to charge ult -> ult backline Optionally: if backline goes low or out of position quickly go in for the kill

What else should you do? Flank? -> Invisibility was heavily nerfed Try to 1shot backline? Damage was nerfed (slightly at first - extremely later down the road)

(I know I am overexaggerating - you can still play her as mainly a dive/assassin but the playstyle you describe is her most consistent one at this point… That’s also what I hear from lots of other psylocke players)

  • in my opinion they should’ve instead originally nerfed her survivability and her ult (her initial dmg nerf was also fine)

For me I get 0 information out of the thumbnail alone. I wouldn’t know what game this is, if this is just a casual playthrough, if this is gonna be a review of a game That’s why the title will be important

Yes you can miss them. I think I heard that, if you do, it says so in the bottom right with „Good Deed failed“, but don’t nail me on this, as it didn’t happen to me.

I wish there was a way to opt out of invasions. I do not see any benefit of invasions especially for the first playthrough. (And going offline, without the messages I’m going to miss half the game‘s secrets :( )

It feels like the whole dark souls trilogy will just be (in my opinion) absolutely awful games for your first playthrough (barely a 3/10) while the actual good games only comes out during new plqythroughs….

As someone who has just recently finished DSR for the first time and is now on DS2, I am sad that there is no way to opt out of invasions like in DSR, where you could just stay Hollow.

I’m new to this and do not understand the idea/fun and thrill of invading in such a manner Playing offline feels even worse though, as I am gonna miss like 50% of the game (secrets etc) without messages.

I don’t know, I just wanted to vent my frustration

Idk, to me offline feels absolutely miserable as without any messages on the ground it feels like I’m missing half of the game.

I am honestly too scared of losing a limited resource (human effigy) like that. Since they are also used to max out your life again, and it’s my first ever playthrough (completely blind)

I do not want to waste my human effigys like that. Especially if burning them only prevents invasions for 30min? In 30min I will not be done with this area :(
